Welcome back fearless readers!
I know I’ve been remiss in my duties of blogging, but I just haven’t been moving that quickly and life is life. But I’m back to update you with the sad fact, we aren’t done fringing the bra yet. I’m disappointed to say the least- but it’s the way the cookie crumbles!
Last you left us, we were HERE on the bra. We had touched a little on the fringe on the left cup (or right as we look at it). I’ve made some great headway and completed the whole side of that cup, unfortunately some of it will need to be done again as some of the lengths are not right. Which is unfortunate- but sometimes that’s how it works when you “freehand” bead. Technically they were all supposed to be the same lengths- but something got away from me and they got a little wonky.
And then we moved on to the next side!
All in all it’s really starting to come together and I am living for the way this fringe looks against the flat beading. I’ve probably “over done it”- and could have gotten away with a LOT less work but let’s be honest here- is there such a thing as “over done it” in terms of fringe?
No- I didn’t think so.
Fortunately it’s all coming together and looking really good as a whole, downside- I’m not looking to get this done till this weekend at the soonest- which means- not in time for my regular restaurant gig.
You can see the progress I’ve made this week from the top picture to the bottom picture. It is slow- but as you can see- a worth while endeavor!
And since it’s “more fringe” today- I’m keeping it short and sweet! Thank you for joining me at the fringing table again, and I look forward to sharing a fully fringed bra or possibly even a finished product for you all next week!
Till next time fearless readers!
